Development Update

Early design phase for Stage 1 has been completed and Detailed Design is near completion. There are some complexities with external infrastructure, and we are collaborating with authorities (Western Water and Hume City Council) to achieve resolution of these challenges. Watsons Road / Buckland Way intersection design has been received by council and we are now responding to their Requests for Further Information.

Donnybrook Industrial Precinct Q1 Update

The Shenstone Park Precinct Structure Plan was gazetted in January 2022 and our Planning Application was accordingly lodged with Whittlesea SC shortly thereafter, in April 2022. Our Consultant Team is subsequently working through various planning and technical queries from Council, in optimisation of the masterplan layout as we gear towards achievement of a Subdivision Permit in Q1 2023.

Simultaneously we have commenced preliminary engineering design for roads, stormwater drainage and utilities in preparation for civil infrastructure construction, with a target of commencing works on the ground in early 2024.

2021 continues to be a challenging year with some winners – if you make toilet paper, and a lot of people and industries facing hard times. Following the Shenstone Park Precinct Structure Plan hearing last year and subsequent report, we are hopeful for final approval by the planning minister of the finding of the report this year. 31 Broadbeach close to topping out

MacNab Construction has been progressing well with construction of level 19 at our 31 Broadbeach development.

Pool and plant room walls are up and we’re pleased to advise that the structure is expected to top out towards the end of February. The building is enclosed with façade glazing up to level 14 providing protection from the weather and enabling the ongoing completion of the internal fitout.

One of the lower half apartments has been set up as a prototype apartment. As you can see it looks fantastic and purchasers can expect the same high level of quality throughout the building, thanks to our dedicated construction team.

We look forward to having a full floor apartment completed in March, at which time we shall share more internal imagery.

Housing Marketing Conditions Improving

CoreLogic’s recent data suggests the market continues to improve and we have passed the bottom.

The main gains are in the top end of Melbourne and Sydney, which are historically the lead indicators that the rest of the market will follow.

We should be mindful of external and internal economic factors (Global and local GDP, China, Brexit etc), but things seem to be improving.
